Associate Software Engineer, Datapath

We are looking for a team player with solid technical skills to add to our core engineering team. Candidates must have a strong technical background and be capable of coming up to speed on new technologies quickly. Good communication skills, great problem solving skills, and the ability to work both individually and collaboratively in a team environment are required. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, test and integrate iDirect Datapath software.
• Participate in code reviews and improve software quality
• Support customers and the Technical Assistance Center as needed
• Other duties as assigned.

Education: BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Mathematics, or equivalent experience

Experience:

• Solid experience with C++ and object oriented design and development.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, sockets, etc.
• Good knowledge of Design Patterns.
• Knowledge of Linux or a POSIX O/S environment.
• Some experience with shell scripting.
• Knowledge of Cryptographic concepts (Symmetric Key, Assymetric Key, IPsec, TLS) is a plus.
• Understanding of IP routing is a plus.
