Position Description
Position Description: DoD Electrical Engineer / Project Manager needed to assist Government, NVESD Air Systems Division, in planning and executing R&D sensor programs for manned and unmanned air platforms.
Essential Job Functions:
Work on-site, Fort Belvoir, VA, to assist senior Government managers, in planning and executing electro-optic (EO) sensor programs, in coordination with multiple Government organizations.
Serve as staff member with ability to work under tight time constraints.
Provide insight and recommendations, to senior Government managers, to assist in decision making on high priority Army EO programs.
Help facilitate coordination among multiple programs.
Develop briefing materials (PowerPoint), and manage program schedules and budgets.
Coordinate with Army Acquisition organizations for program approval and endorsements.
Required Skills:
Strong working skills with MS Office, especially PowerPoint.
Prior DoD project management experience.
Experience with Army Acquisition process, and an understanding of DoD budget planning and execution process.
Please note that this position is located in Fort Belvoir, VA.
Desired Skills:
Experience with night vision, infrared and optical sensors.
Experience with Army aviation (manned and unmanned) programs.
Masters Degree.
