Position Description
New Opportunity for a Center Director
We have a wonderful opportunity for a Center Director at Bright Horizons. This center offers care for children infant through 5.

Requirements:
- BA in Early Childhood Education or related field; Master’s Preferred
- 3-5 years experience in management of child care center
- Must meet the state of DC Licensing Requirements
- Ability to maintain large numbers of back up files
- Extensive budgetary knowledge
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Familiarity with NAEYC accreditation standards
- Able to motivate staff to maintain NAEYC standards
- Strong knowledge of infant and toddler curriculum
- Ability to evaluate and give feedback to faculty on their performance
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks
- Excellent follow through and attention to details
- Demonstrated sensitivity and responsiveness to needs of parents, faculty and Clients
- Strong organizational skills and ability to navigate and utilize multiple computer programs
