Job Description

Purolite, an Ecolab Company is looking for a Quality Control Analyst to join our team at our new Life Sciences manufacturing facility in King of Prussia, PA. This is a great opportunity to join and advance with an innovative and high-growth global company committed to sustainability.

What You Will Do:

The primary focus of this role is to perform required analytical and physical quality tests to applicable products, product investigation, and approve finished products. Duties may include one or more of the following: Approves incoming materials meet specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials for re-work and may perform development and validation activities. Maintain compliance with all legal regulations including GMP/ FDA/ISO standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Performs analytical testing of in-process and final product materials in a GMP laboratory.
  • Experienced in Quality System and SOP procedures as well as industry regulations and standards such as GMP, GLP, FDA, USP, and/or ISO.
  • Experience working with HPLC, GC, Alpine Jet Sieve, IR (infra-red), KF (Karl Fisher), Moisture analyzer, ICP, Stability, UV/ Vis Spectrometer
  • Records results in appropriate notebooks and data sheets.
  • Maintains daily quality control logbooks.
  • Maintains quality control records in accordance with GMPs.
  • Performs selected analysis on finished products received from other branches of the corporation.
  • Maintains lab in an orderly manner.
  • Substitutes for absent workers.
  • Maintains calibration standard logs.
  • Reports out of specification results to the laboratory supervisor as soon as result are available.
  • Packages, store and maintain retain samples in approved storage areas.
  • Performs non-routine analysis as required.
  • Willingness and ability to cross-collaborate with other departments.
  • Gown experience utilization.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Biology (or equivalent field).
  • 3 years of pharmaceutical laboratory experience.
  • Operating knowledge of analytical laboratory instrumentation.
  • Knowledge of physical and analytical chemistry test methods.
  • Previous experience working under GMP conditions.
  • Experience troubleshooting Chromatographic and Spectrophotometric analysis.
  • Midnight-8am shift
  • Shift and weekend work required as per business needs (Floater Role).
