We are seeking and experienced Electrical Designer BIM Specialistfor our Building and Facilities Electrical Group in either Douglassville or Philadelphia, PA. You will work on a wide variety of meaningful projects with engineering and design needs which will challenge you.

Key Responsibilities include:

• • Produce a set of electrical drawings, derived from the Revit model, including: Legend, Notes, Single Line Diagram, Panel Schedules, Electrical Site Plan, Lighting Plan, Power Plan, Communications Plan, Fire Alarm Plan, Panel Schedules, and related schedules, details and diagrams.
  • Utilize electrical systems design tools within Revit to produce an electrical Revit model, for design collaboration with other disciplines.
  • Use of circuiting within Revit to produce electrical panel schedules.
  • Knowledge of Revit template files, families and family creation and modification.
  • Perform Clash Detection to find and resolve any coordination issues between discipline models. Knowledge of Navisworks Manage preferred.
  • Communicate with BIM counterparts throughout the duration of the project to coordinate the different design systems, relay information, and stay informed.
  • Review and incorporate quality checking review comments. Knowledge of Bluebeam Revu preferred.
  • Attend internal and client meetings as needed. Minimal travel to client offices.
  • Some on-site surveying required.

Required Experience:

• • Associates Degree in Drafting & Design or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience providing plan preparation and project deliverable drawings and files. Electrical systems for Buildings & Facilities type projects preferred.
  • Experience utilizing electrical systems design tools within REVIT software (please be prepared to show samples).
  • Experience using the following software's preferred: Autocad, Navisworks, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of U.S. National CAD Standard.
  • Ability to solve problems and carry out responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Desire to be a team player. Strong communication skills are a must.
