Job Description:

As a Storeroom Attendant, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining inventory within our Hanover, PA manufacturing plant. You will be responsible for organizing and tracking stock, receiving, and verifying incoming shipments, and ensuring that all items are safely stored and accounted for. Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will contribute to the smooth operation of the storeroom and ensure that supplies and materials are readily available for use.

Duties:

• Issues parts and supplies to company personnel

• Maintains inventories and records of proper stock levels of all items throughout the plant with the use of a computer terminal using SAP, L2L, or other inventory management systems

• Fills out replacement or new order request forms using part numbers, parts manuals, or existing prints

• Inventories all items received and check materials are in good condition

• Checks parts received against open order file and adds same to existing inventory, both physically and written/electronically

• Prepares all equipment, parts, pieces for shipment according to established procedures

• Unpacking and stocking merchandise

• Handling suppliers' inquiries and requests

• Assist with unloading/loading of materials

• Picks up and delivers materials as required, in accordance with instructions of supervisor

• Maintains all necessary records in reference to trips

• Operates various pieces of equipment and uses hand tools related to job function

• Maintains good housekeeping practices in work area and performs other related duties as required

• Assists Die Maker

• Performs inventory cycle counts/spot checks

Shift & Pay:

• 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm

• $27.63/hr plus shift differential

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License

• Proficiency in relevant computer software - SAP & L2L

• Strong Communication skills

• Ability to lift and carry heavy items

• Ability to work prolonged periods of time on your feet
