Position Summary:

Position assists in developing and executing cross-channel analyses to measure the effectiveness and recommend improvements to assigned MBA marketing campaigns. Under regular supervision, position performs specialized marketing analysis to define and build key audiences and personas for target marketing. Position also interacts with other inside and outside Association staff to carry out marketing assignments.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops intuitive and easy-to-understand reports and dashboards that deliver actionable information for marketing activities' effectiveness and business impact.
  • Identifies and builds standardized target audiences/personas for marketing campaigns.
  • Determines KPIs and designs methods for measuring success/failures.
  • Interprets data, formulates reports, identifies trends, and makes recommendations to marketing and the Association for campaign effectiveness and content improvements.
  • Synthesizes marketing data across multiple channels, including website, social media, marketing automation, and email marketing.
  • Discovers best uses of and builds standard Marketing Automation campaigns for use by the MBA Marketing team.

Qualifications:

Requires a bachelor's degree in Marketing Analytics, Marketing, Communications, or related field, with a minimum of five years of prior relevant work experience at an ad agency or in-house communications department.

  • Requires excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Requires effective project management and organizational skills.
  • Requires proven analytical, research, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well with others, communicate with tact and diplomacy, and provide leadership.
  • Requires experience with Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager
  • Requires experience with a marketing analytics presentation tool such as Tableau or AWS QuickSite - including building dashboards and data sources
  • Experience with analytics in an email performance tool, such as Eloqua, preferred.
  • Experience in tracking paid searches and paid social campaigns.
  • Extensive knowledge of marketing technology such as attribution models, conversion tracking, audience creation, and segmentation.
  • Requires strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
